Privacy

Short version: we collect only what a feature needs, we do not run ads, we do not sell data, and we count visits with a tool that uses no cookies and no personal data.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• Contact form (/contact/): the name, email and message you type. Used only to answer you. Kept only as long as needed to answer you and handle follow-up.
• NurseSim accounts (/nurse/): your email address, your study progress and settings, and your payment status. Used to sign you in (we email you a sign-in code), run the app and give you the Pass you paid for. Deleted when you delete your account.
• Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., which collects your card details on its own page. We never see or store your card number; we receive the payment status, amount and your email. Receipts are emailed to you.
• Consent record: when you buy digital content we store that you ticked the immediate-access box, with the time, as the law requires.
• HiddenWay Tools and other pages: nothing leaves your device unless a page says it "runs on our server".
• Server logs: our host records IP address, time, page and browser type for security and fixing faults. Kept for up to 30 days.

Cookies and similar storage

The only cookie we set is the sign-in cookie on /nurse/, needed to keep you signed in. Nowhere else do we set cookies. Your browser may store your language choice on your own device; it is never sent to us. Because of this we show no cookie banner.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter (goatcounter.com) to count visits: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and stores no personal data about you. We use the totals to see which pages are read. It is not used on /nurse/ app pages or /fewlikeme/. We do not use Google Analytics.

Email

We send sign-in codes, receipts and replies to your messages. We send no marketing email unless you ask for it.

YouTube

Videos are embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, which sets no tracking cookies until you press play. After that YouTube's own policy applies.

Our legal bases

Contract (running your account and delivering what you bought), legal obligation (accounting records, which Danish law requires us to keep), and legitimate interest (security logs, counting visits without personal data).

Where data is kept

On servers of our host, Hostinger, in the EU. Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy and may transfer data under EU-approved safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, or complain. NurseSim: delete your account at /nurse/delete.html or write to us. Otherwise email hello@hiddenway.info; we answer within a month. You may complain to Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).

Children

Our services are not meant for people under 16. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we delete it.

The publishing tool

The software behind the news videos uploads to one YouTube channel owned by us, using the YouTube Data API. It reads no data of other YouTube users; statistics about our own channel are kept no longer than 30 days. Its use of Google API data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
