Court revokes and re-imposes detention for Aleksandar Mijajlović on same day

Jovanović noted that the Higher Court did not send the original release decision to the prison authority right away. He argued that detention should have been officially lifted as soon as the proceeding was suspended. The lawyer emphasized that the new indictment against Mijajlović relies on only twelve messages. He added that prosecutors did not ask for custody inside the new indictment document itself or during the previous day's hearing. The defense team plans to file an official appeal against the new detention order.
