Montenegrin artist Rajko Todorović Todor criticizes government economic promises
Speaking on the TV E show Od petka do petka, Montenegrin academic painter Rajko Todorović Todor stated he felt degraded by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić's recent announcements. Spajić had announced higher salaries and pensions starting from the beginning of next year, including promises of a minimum average wage of 1,500 euros. Todor dismissed these claims as unrealistic, stating that service costs have jumped and citizens are living with increasing difficulty. He also criticized the lowering of hiring standards in public administration ahead of elections, describing the state administration as filled with dependent political hires. Addressing recent traffic enforcement changes, Todor argued that stricter penalties create chaos rather than order. He likened current political figures in Montenegro to characters in Hieronymus Bosch's painting The Ship of Fools.
