Kaduna Governor commissions thousands of new classrooms and facilities 👥

Governor Uba Sani, represented by Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Balarabe, opened the commissioning at Sultan Bello Primary School in Kaduna North. He said primary education builds the foundation for reading, writing, counting and reasoning. His administration has built or rehabilitated 3,267 classrooms and 2,232 toilet facilities to improve dignity and hygiene, especially for girls. The state added 87 science laboratories, 29 computer centres and supplied 81,540 sets of furniture so children no longer sit on bare floors. Four bilingual schools were delivered in partnership with UBEC and the Islamic Development Bank, offering 192 classrooms for 7,680 learners. In addition, 545,748 teaching and learning materials covering literacy, numeracy and science were distributed. These steps aim to bring more children into school and strengthen the quality of learning across the state.
