Privacy policy

For the website edition. Effective 2 October 2026.

In short

Your study record stays on your device. If you make an account, we keep your email address, the country and the exam you chose, your language, whether you hold a Pass, and any support tickets you write. We do not sell this to anyone, and the app has no advertising and no tracking.

Who is responsible

The app is published by HOMAFARVESAGA (trading as HiddenWay, hiddenway.info), Skyttehusgade 22B st, 7100 Vejle, Denmark, CVR 45135381. For anything about your data, write to info@hiddenway.info or open a ticket in the app (More > Support).

What stays only on your device

Your answers, scores, readiness index, bookmarks, notes, problem reports, exam date and settings are stored in your browser's own storage on your device. They are not sent to us. "Save a copy" writes them to a file you choose; "Forget all my progress" deletes them. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them too.

What we keep on our server, and why

Account: your email address (to sign you in with a one-time code and to answer you), the country and exam you chose and your app language (to know which exams and languages to improve), and the date you accepted these terms.

Pass: whether you hold a Pass and until when, the reference of the purchase behind it, and a random identifier of each device you signed in on (at most two), so that a Pass works only for the account that paid for it.

Support: the tickets you send and our answers.

Technical: your internet address is used for a short time to stop abuse (for example guessing sign-in codes) and is not kept with your account.

The legal grounds are: carrying out our agreement with you (account, Pass, support), our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and knowing which exams are in demand, and your consent for news emails.

News emails

We send news about the app, new exams and offers only if you ticked that box. You can untick it at any time in More > Account. Sign-in codes and answers to your tickets are sent regardless, because you asked for them.

Payments

A Pass is paid for on the payment page of Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), our payment provider. You type your card details on Stripe's page: we never see them. We receive the payment reference, the Pass bought, the amount, the date and the email address used, so that the days can be added to your account. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment.

We keep the record of each sale (reference, amount, date, email) for as long as the accounting law of Denmark requires, which is five years, also after an account is deleted.

Who else handles the data

Our hosting provider stores the server data on our behalf in the European Union, our email provider delivers the messages, and Stripe processes the payments. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Deleting it (More > Account > Delete my account, or the web page hiddenway.info/nurse/delete.html) removes your email, country, exam, Pass record, devices and tickets from our server at once. The records of a sale are kept for the period the accounting law requires (see Payments).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw a consent, by writing to info@hiddenway.info or opening a ticket. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority (in Denmark: Datatilsynet).

Links that leave the app

Where the app shows a link to a video channel or to a source of the questions, the link opens outside the app, in your browser or in that service's own app; from that moment that service's privacy policy applies. The app itself loads nothing from those sites.

Children

The app is exam preparation for adults and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is shown in the app and at hiddenway.info/nurse/privacy-web.html with a new date.
