Spreadsheets that do the arithmetic, not the thinking.

A blank spreadsheet asks you to be an accountant before you can be organised. Plainwork files start the other way round: the structure, drop-downs, totals, charts and print layouts are done, and you only enter what happened.

Each workbook comes with example data for a fictional person or studio so you can see every sheet working, and a Start here sheet that explains how to clear it in one step. Settings such as currency, fiscal year and tax percentage are set once and flow through everything.

The files use standard formulas only, so they open in Excel 2016 and later, Google Sheets and LibreOffice. They are record-keeping and planning tools, not tax or accounting advice.

Do I need Excel?

No. The files use standard formulas and also work in Google Sheets and LibreOffice. Excel 2016 or later is the reference.

Will I get the file straight away?

After payment you receive an email with your download link. If it does not arrive within a few hours, check your spam folder, then write to us.
